OMG it's 2011!

So its been ages since I last blogged because I've been busy doing absolutely nothing. But anyway lets think ahead, christmas is on its way and I can't help but feel a bit over excited. Sit around watch films eat shit loads and open gifts that I helped wrap, fun times!

However what I'm looking forward to even more is new years. Now I plan on entering 2011 with a positive attitude. But I feel like all those resolutions that we plan and say we're going to follow through, are going to be forgotten by the time we get home from our new years party, or even if we're at home once we wake up on new years day its going to be, resolution who?

Since its kind of a pattern with me I've decided this time I'm actually going to stick to it! So my main one is to be less lazy if thats even possible. Now I'm not that bad, I do what I need to do but little things like get my art work in on time, or try and do my work as soon as I get it. I know sounds pretty boring but you start small and maybe one of my other resolutions will be a little bit more ambitious.

To be perfectly honest I feel a bit worried going into this new year, because then its 2012 next and even though its just a film you can't blame a girl for being paranoid. But I hope everyone celebrates! Enter the new year drunk, skanking, at home watching the fireworks on tv or even sleeping for all you boring ones out there!

Sportsmen and their cheating streak.

I'm getting a bit sick of hearing about a footballer, basketball player, golfer, you name it cheating on their wives. And yes it happens everywhere not only within the sports world but from what I've seen it seems to be a trend at the moment. From John Terry to Tiger Woods, Robin Van Persie to Ashley Cole. I can't say I know their reasons for cheating but I think they shouldn't have made a commitment if they can't stick to it.

The weird thing is they have some of the most beautiful women by their side. Take Tony Parker the latest cheater, exchanging 'naughty' messages without Eva Longoria knowing, and what makes it worse is that its actually a friend of theirs. I'm no man but even I can say she is stunning!

You would think after seeing how its blown up in the media, it would set an example for the rest of the men out there and shock them into not doing it, but it seems like it doesn't really matter to them. Even RibĂ©ry denting his career just for one night of what they call 'pleasure'. At first when something like this was shown to the rest of us it was frowned upon and it would have a big impact on their positions in their career, but now everyone seems to be getting so used to it.

Some people say the fact that they cheat has no relevance with what they do, which on some levels is true, but these people are role models to other young boys out there and I'm sure they know with their success, fame will come with it.

Its a bit of a disease really, but its as if its more popular amongst footballers, especially in the England team. Probably our bad karma in the World Cup.

RUSSIA! Yay?

Friends forever.

So I think pretty much everyone including Russian president Dmitry Medvedev was in shock to hear that Russia will be hosts for the World Cup in 2018. England only gained two votes which is a bit of a surprise since we sent in three of our best men; David Cameron (actually not so much), David Beckham and Prince William. Probably the most random threesome but anyway its something England could be proud of. Even though I think Harry Potter should've been added to that list, but thats another issue to be solved another time.

And then if this news wasn't bad enough Qatar has been announced as another country that it will be hosting in 2022. Should be interesting to see how the elaborate Arabs do it but a country that doesn't even usually qualify hosting it doesn't sound too good. The only hope that England have left to host the World Cup now is 2030. And I'll be 38 then, woah.

It is a bit annoying that England is meant to be the football nation and yet we can't get more than two votes, and when the votes are announced we immediately think its a fix! Yes its a habbit that the whole country has come to, even with X factor if someone we didn't want goes home ITS A FIX, but when a person that we want goes out its the best show ever. Old habbits die hard I guess.

But yes back to this Russia thing, even if England didn't win I would think Spain or Portugal would win! They already have most of the stadiums prepared unlike the winners who have to build it all from scratch. Theres not much we can do now, atleast we have the Olympics. Even though I would much rather go down the road to watch a football match instead of a person doing some insane acrobatics, but never know I might grow to like it.

All I can say is World Cup 2014 is going to be the one to look forward to now, BRAZIL.
