No ifs no buts, no education cuts!

So I'm planning on going to the protest coming up this Tuesday for student fees. But from what I've seen on youtube and on tv I'm actually kind of worried. But I'm still going to go because I think David Cameron has lost his nut.

How do you not realise that if you higher the prices, less people will go to uni and there won't be many people that will have the right qualifications to work and that will lead this country to poverty, or more and more people will want to live off the government and not make any money of their own! Another thing is that students will start looking for work to pay for these unrealistic fees, and with more people losing their jobs instead of getting one those chances look pretty slim too. I know I sound silly trying to change the world by writing on my blog but hey you have to start somewhere.
Anyway back to this 'situation'. I'm not on anyone's side here but Nick Clegg did say he wouldn't let the prices for uni go any higher. He says its because its a coalition government that they had to come to a compromise, but I still think its pretty bullshit...And they have also tried to defend themselves by saying that its not going to be £9,000 for everyone. But to be honest we all know at some point it will get there, and not many people shit out money.

I also think theres two ways of looking at all this violent behaviour happening at these protests, one is that its bad, and that people are just living up to that bad stereotype about young people. But another way of looking at it is that if you're silent you won't be heard. I'm not sure which one I agree with because they both make sense, but I know I'm not really a violent person so I'll probably stand there hopelessly in the cold with my friends and a lame poster or something. But heres hoping that I don't freeze, scratch, fall or hurt myself in this process!
